Food Pantry: Strengthening a Link

“An elderly guest needed assistance carrying her items out to her car.  After placing everything in her car, she patted my hand to thank me.  She added ‘... if we focus on fixing the whole chain, we can get overwhelmed.  If we focus on each link, we can help strengthen the chain.  Today you strengthened a link.  Thank you.’  Since that conversation, I am often reminded that as much as CCS helps the community, the community helps me too.”
